Mental illness is just as real as any other physical illness; so why should it be treated any differently?
Moreover, someone suffering from such an extreme form of trauma, shouldn’t be treated like they’re making it all up in their heads. They are not.
People often perceive the unseen as non-existent. Which is why various forms of mental disorders go unnoticed. The person going through it silently suffers, without letting anyone know, just because of the fear of being perceived as ‘crazy’ or ‘deranged’.
However, it is time to become aware of the various implications of being ‘depressed’, the difference between feeling depressed and being in depression and helping out a loved one in their time of need.
